A legend states that there lived a beautiful princess who lived in the palace on the edge of the<br />

drink sweetened milk after the bath from a golden jug. One fine day, a prince was crossing<br />

the woods and saw her having a bath. The princess noticed him and was embarrassed as she<br />

was in inadequate bathing clothes. To hide, she started pouring milk in front of her to create a<br />

milk curtain. By this time her maids came forward and covered her up. Hence, it is said that<br />

till today the sweetened milk cascades down the mountain slope as a tribute to the modesty of<br />
