BalanceBoard Pfleiderer‘s development of BalanceBoard is yet another step that proves we are one of the most sustainabilityminded companies in the timber processing and wood engineering industry. Pfleiderer BalanceBoard is only partially timber-derived. Fast-growing economic plants are used as a replacement for the increasingly scarce raw material wood. These are raw materials growing near our production sites, they are available in large quantities, and do not have to be transported long distances. They can be worked and handled as usual, and their transportation is more energy-efficient. BalanceBoard heralds the birth of a new generation of core materials! All of the above named technical properties apply exclusively in moderate climate zones (temperature, humidity, light conditions and so on).
