When we talk about design and engineering at Diono,<br />
we believe in better. So, when we created the Radian<br />
and Rainier, we lovingly engineered a seat without<br />
compromise, constructed for durability, refined for<br />
journey after journey and assembled by hand.<br />
Inspired by aeronautical engineering, which made<br />
our corner of the world in Washington state so famous<br />
worldwide, we wanted to make a seat that would<br />
endure. At the heart of these tried and tested seats,<br />
you will find a mechanically engineered dual spine,<br />
fabricated from automotive grade high strength<br />
steel, with inherent integrity year after year, mile<br />
after wondrous mile.<br />
This unusual and meticulously fabricated compact<br />
core, manages and dissipates energy, and provides<br />
an unyielding structure to protect and shield.<br />
Throughout this range of seats, we have shaped<br />
and structured high density plastics, glass reinforced<br />
structures and a range of selected ‘closed cell’,<br />
impact resistant foams through to viscoelastic<br />
foams for comfort and support.<br />
