Yet, while it would be easy to concentrate
on the enormity of the interventions Nikki
performs on a daily basis, instead her greatest
lesson is about human relationships.
“I get to see people at their best and worst
during their life, and it’s a real privilege to be
able to do that,” she says.

when the chips are down, when things are
really, really bad for people, the thing you
always go back to is your family, your friends,

me and it really instilled in me how important
