Clinical Services works together with parents and families to make a positive difference<br />
despite the challenges that can come with disabilities. We offer specific medical and<br />
clinical services for children, young people, and adults with disabilities from birth<br />
through to adulthood and all through the life cycle.<br />
The overall aim is to develop and maintain the full potential of children and young<br />
people so that they achieve their maximum independence and increased quality of life<br />
and lead a happy and hopeful life.<br />
Principal Services<br />
Medical Consultations - Assessments,<br />
Diagnosis, Continuing Care, Monitoring<br />
and Surgery where appropriate<br />
Therapies - Therapeutic assessments,<br />
individual and group interventions from<br />
a dedicated multi-disciplinary team<br />
consisting of;<br />
• Occupational Therapy<br />
• Physiotherapy<br />
• Speech and Language<br />
• Dietetics<br />
• Social work<br />
• Nursing<br />
• Psychology<br />
• Family supports including home<br />
respite provision<br />
• Specialist Services including clinics<br />
for rare and specific physical<br />
disabilities.<br />
Service Footprint<br />
Clinical services are provided from<br />
our centres in Clontarf and Clondalkin,<br />
Dublin, and also in Waterford City<br />
and East, Wexford, South Tipperary,<br />
Carlow, Kilkenny and Wexford and on an<br />
outreach basis in the Northwest and the<br />
Midlands.<br />
