CLOSING
CEREMONY
This is where the World Choir Games will
say “goodbye for now to South Africa”. The
festive Closing Ceremony will once again
unite all participating nations when they
march into the brilliantly designed and
decorated Sun Arena.
A fantastic 11-day celebration of choral
music, friendship and peace between the
people will be over and come to a great
finish at the Closing Ceremony of the
World Choir Games.
Medals and Diplomas will have been
awarded and the Champions paid due
tribute for their brilliant performances.
Numerous Friendship Concerts, Celebration
Concerts as well as many spontaneous
concerts will have united people in song
and dance as well as in competitions
brimming over with inspiration, outstanding
performances and marvelous results.
The flag of the World Choir Games
will be taken down and handed over to the
next host: Flanders, Belgium. With great
applause, everyone will say thank you to
the hosts of these 10th World Choir Games,
South Africa, the African Cultural Development
Foundation, the Gauteng Province
and the City of Tshwane and look forward
to seeing each other again at the 11th World
Choir Games 2020.
