This academic year, the Fisher College Board of Trustees elected four members: three
familiar faces and one new one. Returning to Board service after a break are Dr. Nicholas Bankson,
Dr. Elizabeth Gavett, and Edward Rogers, who are joined by John McDonnell. Mr. McDonnell is
no stranger to nonprofit leadership roles, having served as a member of the Board of Trustees at
his alma mater, Suffolk University.
All four individuals exemplify the core values and vision of the College and welcome the chance
to work toward Fisher’s continued success.
The new configuration of the Board is both multifaceted and cohesive. President Ray points out
that “Fisher is very fortunate to attract Board members who share the vision and values of this institution.
Each brings with them unique strengths, ideas, and experience that will help position Fisher
on the right path to realizing its great potential.”
