FORMULATION:
Each mL reconstituted suspension
contains:
Amoxicillin (as Trihydrate) ........ 100 mg
DIRECTION FOR RECONSTITUTION:
To make up 10 mL, add 8 mL of distilled
water and shake well until all the powder
are evenly suspended. The reconstituted
suspension is stable for one week (7 days)
at temperatures not exceeding 30ºC and
two weeks (14 days) under refrigeration (2-
8ºC).
DOSAGE:
Infants: 20-40 mg/kg body weight/day
divided into three equal doses
Below 1 month: 0.25mL
1 - 6 months: 0.5 mL
7 - 12 months: 0.75 mL
1 - 3 years old: 1 mL
Every 8 hours or as prescribed by the
physician.
