Jim Darin will be returning to be an Assistant Bench Coach for the <strong>2018</strong> Charlottesville<br />
<strong>Tom</strong> <strong>Sox</strong>. Prior to helping the <strong>Tom</strong> <strong>Sox</strong> last season Jim was the Assistant Varsity Coach<br />
at Monticello High School from 2000 to 2006, an Assistant JV Coach at Albemarle High<br />
School between 2007 and 2010 and has been serving as an Assistant Varsity Coach at<br />
Monticello High School since 2011.<br />
Have coached several summer and fall travel teams for TEAMs. Jim works with the<br />
Dominican Baseball Camps program for the past the nine summers. High School players<br />
come from all over the United States and Canada. The teams are coached by a guest<br />
college coach and Dominican professional coaches. Players immerse themselves in<br />
baseball and the local Dominican culture. Participants practice and play games against<br />
Dominicans.<br />
Besides his work in baseball, Jim serves as an Administrator in Therapy Services at the<br />
University of Virginia Health System.
