12 foot skiffs racing in the “Jack Dempsey Memorial Sprint series”<br />
a tight race, winning the Len Postill Memorial Trophy, with Nick Press<br />
<strong>and</strong> Andrew Hay in Sydney Sailmakers 10 seconds behind in second place<br />
<strong>and</strong> Jakub Ronowicz <strong>and</strong> Craig Nicholson in Stay Connected Electrical<br />
30 seconds later in third place. It was wonderful to see our former club<br />
members, Jakub Ronowicz <strong>and</strong> Craig Nicholson sailing Stay Connected<br />
Electricall<br />
take out the h<strong>and</strong>icap, winning the Jack <strong>and</strong> Lenore Dempsey<br />
Memorial Trophy, with our Arrogant Frog second <strong>and</strong> Gizmo third.<br />
In February we hosted the Jack Dempsey Memorial Invitation<br />
sprints. Nick Press in Sydney Sailmakers was victorious, followed by<br />
Brett Hobson’s Geotherm <strong>and</strong> then Jonathon Temple’s LCC Asia Pacifi c.<br />
Arrogant Frog performed well with Jack Hill crewing with his Dad.<br />
