▼ AOBA Fiber Committee Report The Directory of Fiber Resources is Here! By the time you read this, the brand new AOBA publication, the Directory of Fiber Resources, will have been mailed to the membership, along with the latest edition of the Farm & Ranch Guide. The Fiber Committee is thrilled to have completed the first edition of this valuable directory, and we are eager to hear your feedback! The Fiber Committee is confident you will find the first edition of the DFR very useful, no matter where you’re at on the fiber continuum. If you are one of the many alpaca owners who has diligently sheared your alpacas, bagged up the fleece carefully, stored it safely in the closet, and now find yourself wondering what happens next, this directory is for you. The tal- 6 ented folks listed in the DFR understand how to take the next step with your precious fleeces. Have you ever imagined yourself learning to spin, knit, crochet, or weave? Use the DFR to locate individuals and companies able to supply you with equipment, books, and useful advice to help you get started.
