usually occurs due to an existing installation of the<br />

Microsoft Office suite on your computer.


Solution 1. Reinstall Microsoft (MS) Office<br />

MS <strong>office</strong> <strong>error</strong> <strong>code</strong> <strong>0x4004f00c</strong> may appear when<br />

installing a new MS <strong>office</strong> if you already have a<br />

previous version installed on your computer. You may<br />

want to uninstall the MS <strong>office</strong> first before installing<br />

Option 1.<br />

1. Manually uninstall MS Office<br />

2. Go to Control Panel.<br />

Click all checkbox, click Ok button and press Ok for the<br />

Restart again and then install MS Office.<br />

Solution 2. Rename tokens.dat file<br />

5. Turn off Firewall by going to Control Panel ==> System and Security ==> Windows<br />

Firewall ==> Turn Windows Firewall on or off.<br />

6. Select turn off Windows Firewall.<br />

7. Restart and try to install MS Office.<br />
