seminar! Intended for first-time buyers, this<br />
presentation provides a basic overview of the<br />
home buying and mortgage process. Topics<br />
include deciding to buy or rent, determining<br />
how much you can afford, realtors, preparations<br />
for purchasing and homeowners insurance.<br />
The presentation also covers elements of the<br />
Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) and<br />
alternatives to foreclosure. After learning the<br />
initial information, consider your own financial<br />
situation and determine your preparedness in<br />
buying a house.*<br />
*It is also highly recommended to schedule at least one<br />
financial appointment with the Personal Financial<br />
Counselor to assist in this financial assessment.<br />

Child Care for PCS Program<br />
A&FRC<br />
The Child Care for PCS Program, sponsored by the Air<br />
Force Aid Society, is intended to help relieve the stress felt<br />
by Air Force families during the transition of a PCS.<br />
The Air Force Aid Society will pay up to 20 hours of child<br />
care (per child) in certified Family Child Care (FCC)<br />
homes on base or in Air Force affiliated homes off base.<br />
Certificates are valid within 60 days of departure when<br />
issued at the departure base and/or 60 days of arrival when<br />
issued at the new base. A list of FCC providers is available<br />
from the FCC Coordinator or at the A&FRC.<br />
