impossible to find a good match? This workshop
will help to clarify what you are really looking
for in a relationship and build awareness of your
personal pitfalls in choosing the right person.
PRINCIPLES FOR HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS
& MARRIAGES
This presentation looks at the origins of our
attitudes towards relationships. We will then
discuss the healthy components of intimate
relationships and how to develop the tools needed
to create and maintain a healthy marriage.
HOME SWEET HOME: FINANCIAL
PREPARATION FOR HOME BUYING

Last chance to participate in this informative
seminar! Intended for first-time buyers, this
presentation provides a basic overview of the
home buying and mortgage process. Topics
include deciding to buy or rent, determining
how much you can afford, realtors, preparations
for purchasing and homeowners insurance.
The presentation also covers elements of the
Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) and
alternatives to foreclosure. After learning the
initial information, consider your own financial
situation and determine your preparedness in
buying a house.*
*It is also highly recommended to schedule at least one
financial appointment with the Personal Financial
Counselor to assist in this financial assessment.

to learn essential resources in successfully
assisting newcomers’ transition into the Yokota
community. The workshop is open to all
individuals stationed at Yokota. Newly appointed
active duty sponsors must complete the eSAT
course online training prior to attending the Faceto-Face
Sponsorship Training workshop.

Child Care for PCS Program
A&FRC
The Child Care for PCS Program, sponsored by the Air
Force Aid Society, is intended to help relieve the stress felt
by Air Force families during the transition of a PCS.
The Air Force Aid Society will pay up to 20 hours of child
care (per child) in certified Family Child Care (FCC)
homes on base or in Air Force affiliated homes off base.
Certificates are valid within 60 days of departure when
issued at the departure base and/or 60 days of arrival when
issued at the new base. A list of FCC providers is available
from the FCC Coordinator or at the A&FRC.
