AUTUMN/WINTER 2007 

It has become a very Swedish way of socializing: Talking about the weather. It might 

be because it is more changing and unpredictable here than in many other places of 

the world. If nothing else has happened since last conversation, we rely on a change 

in the weather as a reliable topic. 

As this is written in mid-December, constant raining in combination with hard winds 

makes the western coastline of Sweden almost obsolete: the sea water level is extremely 

high and the landscape is flooded. It has been raining for more or less three months. 

The market response to our latest collections spur us even more to continue on the 

path which we have treaded. Other recent sources for inspiration are the great reviews 

based on several tests in Swedish leading outdoor and lifestyle magazines – We have 

been best in many tests. And this is some evidence to what we have claimed for years: 

Our garments bring the latest in quality, design and functionality to a wide audience. 

In the year 2007, Didriksons, running on its 94th year, is a brand with a history and 

a heart and at the same time a small company with committed designers, skilled 

manufacturers and the ambition to make a difference. With one foot firmly placed on 

the rocky coast off Grundsund, we now have the credibility and the confidence to place 

the other one where we feel like.

this reflects our outdoor collection the most. Laser cut and 

seamless are key words in production, creating clean-cut 

technical garments, perfectly watertight. This development 

is also apparent in the thermal concept which we introduce 

this season: Mid-layer garments that are cut and adapted 

to go perfectly with the shell garments.
