Being able to finally experience a workforce
environment had made me realize that, it is really far
different from the school environment that I have
experienced for the last 17 years of my life. It is as if
everything that I have learned at school so far has
served no purpose on various tasked that was assigned
to me, it also made me realize that the skills and habits
that I have developed from school are the ones that
helped me the most.
The duration of time that I have spent working at Hatch
Canada Headquarters, has greatly provided me the
work experience and habits that I would not have
learned if I had not chosen to do co-op course during
summer, as I continue working I was able to adapt
various habits and skills that will help me as I proceed to
my studies at Loretto Abbey Catholic Secondary School.
I am also thankful for Mrs. Lagani for giving me an
option to be able to work at Hatch Canada as well as the
Hatch Headquarters team for giving me an opportunity
to experience and learn various program functions and
giving me an chance to use the Hatch coding platform
as well as granting me a JavaScript training that are
supposedly used for the new recruit coaches and other
Hatch employees.

Hatch moments!
Discovered posters
Working at an office environment where
people are simply doing their own job and
not minding others actions might not be an
ideal place to have fun, but at Hatch Canada
Headquarter's office every week there is
always one funny thing that happens which
I think as one of the fun times during the
term of my stay at Hatch Canada. One of
those amusing times is when I and my
fellow co-op student from Norte Dame High
school, saw a couple of posters that are
handmade by the sales team and spring
camp coaches for communication activity
purposes.

The posters were found during the time
when we were cleaning up the previous
Hatch office on the third floor so that we
could take some stuff down into the new
agency located just under the original one.
Essentially the new office was finally
established into a pretty nice interior, we
inquired the CEO's of Hatch Canada if we
could put up the newly discovered posters
for display purposes, which they kindly
allowed and we proceeded on putting them
up one by one which in turn started
dropping off one by one after 10 mins when
we put them up.
Menola being frustrated seeing her
production falling one by one resort to
buying a duct from Dollarstore and using
them to make the poster stay up for a long
time, which surprising worked seeing that
the duct tape was from Dollarstore,
furthermore it is hilarious at the same time
seeing how determined she was at getting
the posters to stay up at the wall as well as
how I was nitpicking on how the posters
should be arranged to make the wall look
less empty-spaced. Hence, this event would
be recorded in my memory as it was such a
ridiculous experience.

My coding skills have improved considerably and went beyond the elements that I have
learned at school. For instance, coding methods and functions such as color, background,
triangle, rectangle, quadrilateral, lines, etc., are the things that I have learned from Hatch
coding platform. Including performing gaming projects from the Hatch website and using
coding functions on spreadsheets to make the data organizing much faster and easier to sort.
Habits
One of the habits that I have developed by working at Hatch Canada Headquarters is the
habit of completing my work and assignments as soon as possible, which will greatly help me
for my future plans and studies as it is a very crucial habit to be acquired early instead of it
being acquired later on which would be extremely late where everything has already been
failed.
