14 H Involving you in the running of the service Leaseholder Panel This would be open to all leaseholders and would be an opportunity for leaseholders to meet regularly to discuss issues that are of particular concern to them. There would also be an opportunity for representatives from the Leaseholder Panel to become a member of the Castell Mynydd Forum. This Forum would provide tenants and leaseholders with the opportunity to discuss with Castell Mynydd the issues that matter to them the most. Monitoring the quality of service Castell Mynydd would carry out regular customer satisfaction surveys to make sure that the service is meeting your needs. It would take account of the results of these surveys to improve and develop the service and it would publish findings to ensure you know what levels of service are being provided. Castell Mynydd would encourage tenants’ groups and the Leaseholder Panel to become involved in monitoring its performance through joint estate inspections with tenants and the regular provision of performance statistics. It would also produce other information, for example newsletters, to these groups and an annual report to all tenants. In addition, Castell Mynydd would establish a Repairs and Improvements Task Group, which would include tenants, staff, board members and leaseholders with the aim of informing and influencing the improvement programme. This group’s role could include: • Helping to select and monitor contractors and the in-house workforce. • Deciding on the choice of fixtures, for example, the range of windows and external doors that are installed and decoration of communal areas. • Checking quality, value for money and ease of repair. • Making sure the programme is well communicated and keeps tenants/ leaseholders’ needs in focus. Did you know... Castell Mynydd would involve tenants and leaseholders in checking the quality, cost and value for money of the repair and investment programme to all properties.
