4 Travel: How to get here By air From Glasgow Glasgow International Airport is around 1 hour, 15 minutes’ drive from the School. The Airport Express bus service www.glasgowairport.com/to-and-from/ bus/ connects the airport to the city centre in 15 minutes, from there you can catch a train to Perth. Trains run from Glasgow Queen Street and take an hour. A frequent tram service www.edinburghairport.com/transportlinks/trams can take you into Edinburgh city centre where you can catch a train to Perth from Edinburgh Waverley station. Each airline has its own polices relating to unaccompanied minors. You should also inform your Housemaster/Housemistress if your child is flying as a designated unaccompanied minor, so that they can make sure that whoever is picking your child up or dropping them off is aware and can make appropriate arrangements. By taxi The School approved taxi company is M&M Taxis, tel +44 (0)7710 498180 to book. Taxis from both Glasgow and Edinburgh Airports can be booked online via the airport websites (See left). Taxis are available from the taxi rank outside Perth Railway Station. By rail The nearest train station is Perth. Upon arrival take a taxi to Strathallan. This is a 17 minute journey by car. By bus A number of buses run to the village of Forgandenny, where the School is located.
