Volga-Dnepr picks Ogiermann<br />
as new senior vice president for operations<br />
Ulrich Ogiermann<br />
LONDON: Ulrich Ogiermann has<br />
joined Volga-Dnepr Group as Senior<br />
Vice President for Operations and<br />
Deputy General Director for Cargo<br />
Logic Management, a company<br />
subsidiary, reinforcing the strategy of<br />
building an international cargo airlines<br />
group.<br />
Ogiermann will be responsible for<br />
the implementation of Volga-Dnepr's<br />
international cargo airlines group<br />
strategy, aimed at realizing the<br />
synergistic effects of strategic<br />
partnerships between airlines to<br />
guarantee high-end and cost-efficient<br />
solutions for the group's global<br />
customers.<br />
He will manage control of the<br />
airlines' annual operational results and<br />
operational standards compliance, as<br />
well as network synergy under the<br />
s t r a t e g i c p a r t n e r s h i p s , a n d<br />
international team development.<br />

joined our international team and<br />
believe his knowledge and<br />
experience will bring synergies within<br />
our network of airlines to new levels,”<br />
said Alexey Isaykin, President of<br />
Volga-Dnepr Group.<br />
Ogiermann has more than 25 years<br />
of experience in the air cargo<br />
industry and is a highly respected<br />
airline executive. From 2012 to 2017,<br />
he was Chief Cargo Officer for Qatar<br />
Airways and, between 2003 and<br />
2011, held the position of President<br />
& CEO of Cargolux Airlines, which he<br />
had joined in 1998.<br />
Ogiermann has been a member of<br />
IATA Cargo Committee for many<br />
years and served as Chairman of The<br />
International Air Cargo Association<br />
(TIACA) in 2009 and 2010.<br />
B&H boosts global strategic plan with<br />
key appointments in Oceania<br />
MELBOURNE: B&H Worldwide,<br />

aerospace logistics, has made two<br />
key appointments in the Oceania<br />
region recently.<br />
Colin Kaltner becomes Head of<br />
Operations and Sita Tauakipulu takes<br />
on the role of Commercial Accounts<br />
Manager based in Auckland, New<br />
Zealand. Both had previously worked<br />
for B&H and are now returning to the<br />
company in these senior positions.<br />
Designed to further boost the<br />
leadership of its operational<br />
capabilities, where it sets marketleading<br />
standards, these new<br />
management appointments will<br />
build the company's expertise and<br />
provide renewed focus to its services<br />
in the region, B&H said.<br />
Kaltner started his career at B&H in<br />
London in 2000 before moving to the<br />
B&H Los Angeles office where he was<br />
Operations Manager. From there he<br />
went on to B&H Australia where he<br />
held an operational and commercial<br />
account management role.<br />
In 2016 he left to take up a position<br />
at Jetstar Airways as freight manager<br />
before re-joining B&H this month.<br />
B&H's teams in Melbourne, Sydney<br />
and Auckland will now report to<br />
Kaltner.<br />
