GENERAL<br />

TERMS AND CONDITONS<br />

The Deck Management has the right to refuse entry and/or ask any guest to leave at any given<br />

time. The <strong>deck</strong> Functions come to an end at midnight the night of the function unless agreed<br />

otherwise with management. Dress Code is strictly smart casual with no thongs, singlets or hats<br />

permitted. A minimum requirement of 40 guests (cocktail style) is needed to secure a function<br />

space, platter and beverage package<br />

ACCESS<br />

The main entrance to The Deck is via Gheringhap Street.<br />

PARKING<br />

The Deck do not provide free parking. Off street parking and parking lot spaces are available.<br />

The Deck take no responsibility for theft vandalism or any kind should they occur during the time<br />

of function.<br />

BEVERAGE POLICY<br />

All Deck staff members operate under responsible service of alcohol protocols and have the right<br />

to refuse service to any guest. The Deck is strictly a NO BYO alcohol venue.<br />

AUDIO & VISUAL<br />

The <strong>deck</strong> in House DJ’s can be hired at $60 per hour. AUX is provided for ipod connectivity, and<br />

mounted televisions are provided.<br />

A hire fee for wireless microphone, speakers and projector to be paid at guests own cost.<br />

SECURITY<br />

All Deck <strong>functions</strong> require a security guard to be present for the duration of the function<br />

SETUP<br />

Function Set up can commence after 3:30pm the day of your function or earlier if organised<br />

with management prior. All furniture will remain in place for <strong>functions</strong>, unless prior approved<br />

by management.<br />

All table scatter, balloons or any other sort of decoration must be approved by The <strong>deck</strong><br />

Management prior to the event or function.<br />

CONFIRMATION, BOOKINGS AND DEPOSITS<br />

A security Deposit of $400 is required to secure your function booking. Booking forms must be<br />

returned and signed along with the security deposit. A non refundable $300 will be taken from<br />

your security deposit for function room hire and the remaining funds can be used accordingly to<br />

the guests wishes. Final guest numbers and payment of food platters are required 7 days prior to<br />

your function or event. If the beverages are purchased on consumption, payment of the bar Tab is<br />

required to be finalised at finishing of the event. (Minimum spend includes food and beverages)<br />

Minimum spend: Level 1 - $1500, Level 2 - $1500<br />

CANCELLATIONS<br />

Any cancellations within 2 weeks of your function will incur a fee of 50% of the deposit and<br />

within 7 days 100% of the deposit<br />

VENUE AGREEMENT<br />

I/WE ________________________________ (the company client) here by declare to have read,<br />

understood and abide by the terms and conditions of The Deck Geelong.
