Happy New Year! And a
new year means it will soon
be time to send out the alley
reports for 2012. This year
the forms will have a slightly
different look. We’ll be
asking for a little additional
information. We would like
to know when your alley
holds its election of officers,
where your alley meets and
on what day of the week do
you meet. As the director
of alley/regional support, I
am frequently contacted by
prospective clowns looking
for a meeting close to their
home. They also want to
know when the meetings
are. The more specific
information we can give
them about your alley, the
more likely they will be to
follow up.

We’d also like
to try something
new. We want to send out
alley report forms near the
time of your election of
officers. It’s possible some
alleys hold back on returning
their reports pending the
outcome of their elections
and, in the process, report
submission are overlooked
or forgotten. If we can get
the reports to you in time for
your elections then we’re
sure of having the most upto-date
records. Of course,
you can always go online to
file your alley reports. It’s
really easy and fast. Just
fill in the blanks and hit
the submit button and it’s
done. This saves time, paper
and money. What could be
better?
