About<br />
I’m Augustine K. Mathai and I’ve completed my<br />
graduation in Fashion Design. I’m pursuing a<br />
career to work as a Fashion content writer and<br />
Stylist in this field.<br />
A vibrant and passionate personality, who loves to<br />
travel, explore, design and write. A smart and<br />
quick learner who grabs opportunities whenever<br />
gets one.<br />
A creative and good team player who manages and<br />
organises things in a scheduled way.<br />
My work contains minimalism and simplicity at<br />
most of the points. I don’t push my creativity to<br />
over-confidence. I believe in trying again until I<br />
succeed. I carry the dream to publish my own<br />
Fashion magazine in future along with a designer<br />
label.<br />
So, here is my best works since my graduation till<br />
freelancing days.
Fierce Beauty<br />
This pure ‘white’ collection is inspired from the fierce, vicious yet protective and the ability<br />
to attract groups from these creatures into a female body.<br />
A woman has the power to grasp the attention and lead the way.<br />
They have the fierce look and the kind caring soul simultaneously.<br />
The design collection- Fierce beauty actually have garments which are bold, ecstatic and<br />
peaceful at the same time. They are pure white as the vicious animals and the feathers<br />
compliment the characteristics of both the animals into the designs.

‘She made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible,<br />
She walked with the universe on her shoulders and<br />
made it look like a pair of wings.’
The Bewitching ruler<br />
‘As if you were on fire from within,<br />
The moon lives in the lining of your skin.’
the Luring empress<br />
‘She will blaze through you like a gypsy wildfire.<br />
Igniting your soul and dancing in its flames.<br />
And when she is gone, the smell of her smoke will be<br />
the only thing left to soothe you.’
Chevau Legers<br />
Chevau Legers derives its inspiration from the 3 strong virtues of the<br />
Polish armed forces- Discipline, Pride & Togetherness, and is a crisp salute<br />
to everything cavalry.<br />
Dramatic and heroic re-appropriation of male presence is the cornerstone of<br />
the collection, where masculine, hard/soft, defend/protect is the new dialog.<br />
Structured trenchcoat inspired bandhgalas and long kurtas will represent a<br />
mentality of fighting the fight, for what they believe in.
Convertible Nehru collars, applique work, vintage coin buttons, leather patches<br />
and rustic medallion like brooches preach equality connotations, whilst the roots<br />
are indeed authoritative yet transparent and not camouflage.
Strength, fearlessness and determination is ushered in the lavishly<br />
sharp new look that is functional, chic and sophisticated.
Deep & Blue<br />
A Make-up and Styling project based on the theme “Deep & Blue”.<br />
The inspiration for the designs is Reflection of moonlight over the sea,<br />
where the water was depicted by the blue colour and draped fabric<br />
whereas Moonlight was represented by the silver oxidised jewellery. The<br />
look was altogether incorporated from the African tribes and culture, also<br />
with their intimacy with nature.
