Prayers<br />
A prayer is a way of talk<strong>in</strong>g to God. There are different ways of<br />
pray<strong>in</strong>g. Sometimes Christians say a prayer toge<strong>the</strong>r, like this one<br />
before a meal:<br />
For what we are<br />
about to receive<br />
May <strong>the</strong> Lord make<br />
us truly thankful.<br />
Amen.<br />
Or <strong>the</strong> vicar says <strong>the</strong> prayer and <strong>the</strong> people say AMEN.<br />
Sometimes Christians pray just by sitt<strong>in</strong>g quietly and th<strong>in</strong>k<strong>in</strong>g.<br />
