a look at the servants’ side of the Hall.
Lytham Windmill & Old
Lifeboat House
East Beach, Lytham FY8 5LD
Use the spiral staircase to pass from the stately
family rooms to the Victorian kitchen where you can
meet the housekeeper. Room stewards available to
answer your questions about the Hall and the Kay-
Shuttleworth family. National Trust Tea-room on
site.

The Windmill and Old Lifeboat House houses a
permanent cultural museum. On the tour you can
observe the wonderful interior of the buildings,
including the workings of the mill, as well as learn
about the local lifeboat service and local history.
There will also be a full size, wooden Victorian
lifeboat on display.

Lancaster Castle

Free guided tours of this iconic building only
recently fully opened to the public. Guided tours
will visit the main courtyard, Chapel Yard, The Shire
Hall, The Crown Court, The Drop Room, The Grand
Jury Room, Hadrian’s Tower, The Old Cells, and A
Wing. Tours are available on a strictly first come first
served basis. Visitors will be given tickets to the next
available tour at the time of their arrival - no prebooking
is available for any free tour.
