5-year parts and labour guarantee (except for MIO 2775 E,

EU energy efficiency standard 

This scheme covers electric ovens, refrigerators, freezers, 

dishwashers and washing machines and is designed to offer 

consumers a standard method of choosing the most energy 

efficient appliances. It allows you to protect the environment 

while saving money on energy. 

For electric ovens the label states the energy consumption in 

kWh and the usable volume of the oven. Gorenje’s ovens are 

rated either A or B, the two most efficient categories. 

For refrigerators and freezers, as well as stating the Energy 

Efficiency Class (A is the most efficient, G is the less efficient) 

the label also gives the annual electricity consumption and the 

usable storage capacity. Gorenje’s integrated refrigerators, 

fridge-freezers and freezers are all A rated, the most efficient 

category. 

For dishwashers the label states energy efficiency, washing and 

drying performance. Gorenje’s integrated dishwashers are 

all A or B rated energy and washing performance, the most 

efficient categories. 

For washing machines the label as well as showing the energy 

efficiency also states the wash and spin performance. Gorenje’s 

integrated washing machine and washer-dryer are A rated 

washing performance, the most efficient category.

Advanced technology 

> Extra-deep pan 

Instead of making lasagne in a ceramic dish that 

takes forever to heat up, you can now make it in 

this 5 cm-deep baking pan. Afterwards, simply 

clean it the Gorenje way - with ordinary tap 

water. This pan is available with all Gorenje 

built-in single ovens. 

Cooking on three levels 

Gorenje offers a large oven in which heat is 

spread evenly throughout the oven so you can 

simultaneously cook on three of the five levels. 

You can cook an entire meal, saving both time 

and energy. Our top model has two lights instead 

of one, giving you an even better view of all the 

levels you are using.

Floating ovens stay cool 

Gorenje’s single ovens have a unique advantage. 

There is a space filled with air between the outer 

sides of the oven and the oven cavity. So, even 

though the oven is hot, the air in the space serves 

as insulation, keeping the outer sides cool.

The best Gorenje ovens have an even more advanced cooling system 

in which an extra ventilator continues to cool the air after you 

have turned off the oven, automatically stopping when the sensor 

indicates that the air has reached 75°C. 

Open the door and stop the heat 

A special door switch stops the fan immediately when you open the 

oven door during the cooking process, so you do not get a burst of 

heat straight in your face. The moment you close the door, the fan 

starts again (models B 9000 and B 8975).

The cool door 

One of our most ingenious safety features 

is the UCD (Ultra Cool Door). On the 

top models the oven door has triple 

glazed glass that makes the door cool on 

the outside even though it is hot inside. 

Children do not get their fingers burned,

Easy-to-clean knobs

You can get our glass ceramic hobs with finger-touch control for 

easy operation. There are 12 different sensors, including a child-lock 

sensor to prevent children from switching on the hob. 

Warning lights 

The RHI (Residual Heat Indicator) warning light illuminates for 

each cooking zone. When cooking is finished, the lights tell you that 

the zone is still hot and should not be touched.

The induction hob - a revolution in 

cooking 

Induction hobs are quicker than gas or any other 

hob – and safer. Only the cooking zone directly 

under the pot gets warm, the rest of the hob is 

cold enough to touch. The heat comes on in no 

time, and the moment you remove the pot, the 

cooking zone becomes cold again. The combined 

induction / ceramic hob gives you the best of both 

options. 

Flexible, gentle and powerful 

Gorenje’s induction hob is so flexible that even 

milk about to boil over can be stopped within 

a few seconds. It is also perfect for gently 

simmering things that are easily burned, such as

> Why is salt used in the dishwashing process 

While washing is taking place, salt is automatically rinsed out of the salt container 

into the water softener where it dissolves the lime in the water. The dissolved lime is

load. This process of regeneration can only function when the salt is dissolved in water. 

Salt dispenser must be refilled immediately before switching on the dishwasher (to
