Hate is something that is almost impossible to avoid and the more<br />
successful you become the more of it you will probably get. To be<br />
better at what you do and avoid something that causes most<br />
people to give up.<br />

You should arm yourself with this knowledge and simple<br />
strategies to glide right through the haters, without even giving<br />
them another thought.<br />
Some people even measure success with the number of haters<br />
they have!<br />
The more haters the more success…therefore it becomes something to celebrate.<br />
You’re about to become very conscious about the psychology of a hater and exactly<br />
how to neutralize them and stop them right in their tracks. But remember with<br />
great power, comes great responsibility.<br />

Understand the haters' psychology, it's not you it's me…yeah right! Once you<br />
know why they do what they do or say what they say, it becomes a lot easier to<br />
implement the suggestions in this book.<br />

Or in laymen’s terms, why<br />
they do what they do<br />
This is critical information to understand<br />
because it’s going to change your whole<br />
perception of haters, you may even start to<br />
feel sorry for them… Firstly, yes haters are<br />
more often than not your biggest fans!<br />
Remember when you were a child and you<br />
had that one person that just didn’t like you<br />
or that picked on you and your mother would<br />
say, they probably think you're cute?<br />
Well, this is kind of like that. They really just<br />
secretly love you.<br />
One of the other big reasons haters hate is<br />
because they are projecting their own flaws<br />
onto you. Some people are so scared to admit<br />
that they have flaws that they deny the<br />
existence of the flaws by accusing others of<br />
having that exact flaw. A person’s biggest flaw<br />
is usually what they see in other people.<br />
Just try this, next time your listening to<br />
others, pay close attention to what they<br />
are accusing others of having and it will<br />
probably reveal their biggest flaw and<br />
issues.<br />
<strong>Haters</strong> often have failed to do something<br />
meaningful in their lives and they are<br />
insecure, they are uncomfortable in their<br />
own skin and by trying to bring others<br />
down in any way that they can, it helps<br />
them move away from their pain of<br />
feeling insecure, even if it is for a small<br />
amount of time.<br />
I will use the example of a home based<br />
business, if your friends or family had<br />
tried and failed at a similar business they<br />
will probably (sometimes unconscious)<br />
not want you to succeed…Why?<br />

Because what does that say about them?<br />
When your insecure about something and you<br />
see someone else succeeding where you failed,<br />
it feels like a spotlight is shining down on you or<br />
like you have a massive sign on your head<br />
broadcasting your insecurity to the world.<br />
The good news is that you can become aware of<br />
these insecurities and work hard to eliminate<br />
them. For the small number of unconscious<br />
haters, they are so unaware of their own<br />
psychology, thoughts and actions that they<br />
become like hate zombies and they have no idea<br />
why they say and write mean things about<br />
others, my advice is to stay away from the<br />
zombies and don’t engage at all.<br />
<strong>Haters</strong> have low self-esteem and self-worth<br />
issues, they often feel inferior to you and<br />
choose to handle it the wrong way. They tend to<br />
get jealous of others easily and this can lead to<br />
them trying to bring down others who are<br />
trying to do things that they couldn’t do.<br />

One of the best ways to shut down haters is to ignore<br />
them. Don’t feel like you have to defend yourself or<br />
respond at all, being ignored is one of the most powerful<br />
negative reinforcers and is often enough to get people to<br />
change their behavior.<br />
Remember resistance is what compels<br />
most hater to continue. So don’t resist,<br />
just ignore. It is the quickest and easiest<br />
option. Don’t listen to the choir of people<br />
who try to keep you down shape your<br />
future.<br />
It may feel strange but if you are one on one just let that<br />
awkward silence tell the story. Or if you are in a<br />
group just go right on talking to someone else who isn’t<br />
hating because critical people are usually looking for<br />
some type of reaction and when you ignore them they<br />
are more likely to drop it.<br />

NEUTRALIZE<br />
PASSIVE-<br />
AGGRESSIVE<br />
HATERS<br />
If you have one of those haters who may even<br />
be close to you, like a friend or family<br />
member here are some great tips to quickly<br />
neutralize them. When they are being passive<br />
aggressive act as if they are being genuine.<br />
Example:<br />
• You just get your hair done and it’s a bit out<br />
there... but just the way you like it. Your coworker<br />
who you secretly know may be a<br />
hater says, “Nice hair mate” (you know, with<br />
that underlining tone, I mean really you<br />
always know right)<br />
Instead of taking offense, you just respond<br />
with a simple, “thanks” with a big smile on<br />
your face, and keep on going with your day.<br />
It shuts them down quick smart and really<br />
does you care what they think?<br />
If they are that special type of passive<br />
aggressive you know the ones…they say<br />
things like “I could never do that (with a<br />
crazy look on their face to say) because<br />
you have said you're doing a 48 hour fast<br />
for weight loss and health and they are<br />
so far overweight and out of control, you<br />
know its something they would never<br />
do…Shut that down with this.<br />
“It’s a good thing that you make<br />
decisions for you and I make decisions<br />
for me, because if the roles where<br />
reversed it sounds like we would both be<br />
really unhappy” they will back off<br />
straight away.<br />
If this hater is someone close to you, you<br />
may want to act a different way<br />
altogether. You may want to show a little<br />
bit of vulnerability.<br />

For example:<br />
You start a new side hustle and you prospect your<br />
mother. Her response is not ideal. In fact she tells you to<br />
point blank:<br />
“Your business is going to fail!”<br />
“You’re never going to make it”<br />
You may want to say something like:<br />
“Yes it may not work out, but I love what I am doing and I<br />
am learning a lot”.<br />
Don’t continue the cycle or argument with facts just get<br />
real and speak from the heart. Share your values and<br />
your real concerns and be vulnerable with your loved<br />
ones.<br />
Don’t let them shape your decisions but be open with<br />
how you feel. People tend not to attack when you let<br />
them know the emotional reasons for your working on<br />
something.<br />

DEVELOP<br />

SKIN<br />
You can not live your life<br />
based on what other people<br />
think about you. Build-up<br />
your belief in yourself and<br />
make yourself bulletproof.<br />
You are number one in this<br />
life and I don’t mean that in a<br />
narcissistic type of way. I<br />
mean that without you, you<br />
don’t have a family, you<br />
don’t have a business. You<br />
don’t have anything if you<br />
are not here. <strong>Haters</strong> are like<br />
bullies we need to build up<br />
our self-belief so that they<br />
can’t make you waver.<br />
So, invest in your mindset.<br />
Invest in learning what<br />
makes you tick, what are<br />
your triggers, what are<br />
your weaknesses and your<br />
strengths and make sure<br />
you develop a bulletproof<br />
mentality.<br />
So that it won’t matter what anyone says about you! You know who<br />
you are and what you stand for and you are not going to let anybody<br />
stand in your way. Never let your small beginnings keep you small<br />
minded.<br />
Avoid the biggest mistake people make when someone starts showing<br />
hate towards you. When the hater is projecting their flaws onto you,<br />
make sure you don’t start believing and looking for flaws in yourself.<br />
This will cause you to doubt yourself and your goals. It is natural to try<br />
and start to look at it from their perspective to try and make sense of<br />
the blame and hate. Instead create an inner knowing so strong, so<br />
powerful you become unshakable with your faith, haters can’t crack it.<br />

Keep working on you and develop the strategies that work for you in<br />
these situations.<br />
For me personally, I have dealt with many haters and now I know<br />
when and If they do get under my skin ( as I am only human). I selfregulate<br />
with awareness, breath, knowledge, gratitude, and<br />
movement, I do a flip on the meaning and literally use it to get me<br />
motivated.<br />

FIND YOUR<br />
TRIBE<br />
A community of likeminded<br />
people<br />
Find a community, a tribe of like-minded people. A lot<br />
of the hate that we deal with comes from people close<br />
to us that don’t want us to change. They are invested<br />
in us staying the same even if it comes at the expense<br />
of our happiness and growth.<br />
To limit the pushback you will receive find groups of people who<br />
are interested in what you are interested in.<br />

Hang out with people who love what you love, join a mastermind,<br />
or a group coaching program like mine (shameless plug coming<br />
up):<br />
How to be bulletproof, release self-sabotage and experience<br />
success with confidence!<br />
When you are around like-minded people or better yet more<br />
experienced people your frequency, beliefs, and mindset start to<br />
change. There is a group for almost everything and you can find it<br />
if you google your town plus the activity that you’re into. Meetup<br />
dot com is also great for finding your tribe.<br />
Life is like an elevator: on your way up, sometimes you have to<br />
stop and let some people off.<br />
