Possibly the most good looking star couple around, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer
Singh’s upcoming wedding has been keeping us in a tizzy. The couple has been super
secretive about their plans, with wild speculations swirling about everything – right from
the date, the venue, the wedding ensemble and the wedding jewellery. And truth be told,
we like it this way. What is a Bollywood Shaadi without any of the gossip, the nail-biting
suspense and the stunning surprises after surprises!

Ranveer and Deepika have been dating for six years now and the couple is in the best of
both worlds. Deepika’s elegance personified with a traditional charm that speaks of her
South Indian roots. Ranveer is every bit the Bombay boy, with his fun-loving Punjabi self,
making headlines and Insta-friendly moments.

Their wedding is supposed to be held in November this year, in the presence of a closeknit
group of some 30 people at the exotic Lake Como in Italy, near Milan, known for its
luxurious and picturesque villas, mansions, churches, and restaurants.
There have been several stories about what Deepika is likely to wear for the wedding, and
according to reports she may have settled to be a Sabyasachi bride after all.
Even as the world expects Deepika to team the bridal ensemble with Sabya’s royal
wedding jewellery, in gold, emeralds, rubies and other precious stones, there are reports
that Deepika may go for something rather unconventional.
Apparently, the bride-to-be and her family have been shopping for silver jewellery. Ditto
for Ranveer Singh and his family. Now we are not sure if the silver jewellery is just for
one the many looks that the couple is likely to sport for the ceremony, but silver is
definitely an interesting choice for a wedding function.

Teamed with pearls, silver with antique finish can look absolutely divine. It can go well
with a mehndi or cocktail look if the couple chooses to ditch conventional Indian attire
for something more edgy, fun. And perhaps, in keeping with the setting.
While we are sure Deepika and her team are putting in a lot of thought and planning into

At a fashion show where she was the show-stopper with the handsome Fawad Khan,
Deepika looked ravishing in a bold red lehnga and smokey eyed look. The severe hairstyle
with the plunging off shoulder blouse drew our attention to the only piece of jewellery –
a meenakari and pearl choker around her slender neck.

We can never say enough about Deepika’s Padmaavat look. The nose rings, the chokers
and raani haars, the rings and kangans, she looked divine in the jewellery that was
designed for a Queen.

Deepika stayed true to her heritage in Chennai Express where she dressed in bridal finery
for a certain scene. We loved the flowers around her bun, the matha patti and the
traditional south Indian jewellery with a rich red and gold kanjeevaram she wore for the
film.
