perennials, flower bulbs, small fruits and vegetables. This catalog<br />

has been specially designed to assist you in your preparation for<br />

successful live good sales.<br />

TERMS: F.O.B. Coloma, Michigan.<br />

Net 30 days on approved accounts. 1-1/2% finance charge per month (18% annual)<br />

on overdue accounts.<br />

PAYMENT: Cash, check, money order, Visa, MasterCard, AMEX or Discover.<br />

MINIMUM $125.00 minimum per shipment for all orders. Order quantities not in compliance<br />

ORDER: with listed multiple amounts by variety will be adjusted up to the next multiple<br />

level. There will be a $25.00 charge on all orders less than $125.00.<br />

SHIPPING: <strong>De</strong> <strong>Groot</strong>, <strong>Inc</strong>. will choose the most efficient and economical carrier for shipping<br />

plant material. Customer shipping request for specific carriers will be honored. In<br />

all cases the customer is responsible for the product after it is delivered by the<br />

carrier. <strong>De</strong> <strong>Groot</strong>, <strong>Inc</strong>. will not be liable to the customer for delivery delays arising<br />

from conditions beyond our control.<br />

CLAIMS: All product must be unpacked immediately upon arrival. Inspection should be<br />

made with delivery driver present. Should any product be delivered in damaged<br />

condition, file a claim with the delivery carrier and notify <strong>De</strong> <strong>Groot</strong>, <strong>Inc</strong>.<br />

Do not throw away any product that has been reported damaged as a disposition<br />

authorization must come from <strong>De</strong> <strong>Groot</strong>, <strong>Inc</strong>. Claims or shortages must be<br />

reported within 10 days after receipt of shipment. Protect from excessive heat or<br />

cold and keep away from moist or wet areas during storage.<br />

LIABILITY: We warrant our product to be viable, healthy, and free from injurious insects and<br />

disease upon receipt. We give no warranty to viability of our product after 10 days<br />

of receipt. We do not guarantee survival of plants potted or planted in the Fall.<br />

We accept no responsibility for the guarantee our customers give their<br />

customers. In no case will <strong>De</strong> <strong>Groot</strong>, <strong>Inc</strong>. be liable for any amount greater than<br />

the sum originally received for our product.<br />
