PERTH AMBOY – Our very<br />

own Competitive Stroke<br />

Coordinator Darian Russell<br />

competed in the 20<strong>18</strong><br />

Pan-American U.S. Masters<br />

National Championships in<br />

Orlando, Florida on July 28 –<br />

August 3, 20<strong>18</strong>. Coach Darian<br />

showcased his skills among<br />

extremely talented swimmers<br />

from all over the nation. He<br />

did extremely well; we are so<br />

proud of him!<br />

Darian competed in the 35-<br />

39 year old age group, in the<br />

50 meter Freestyle and the<br />

100 meter Freestyle, he came<br />

in 2nd on both events in his<br />

heat. Not only that, but he finished<br />

TOP TEN OVERALL<br />

IN BOTH EVENTS!!! He<br />

came in 10th place in the 50<br />

Free and 8th place in the 100<br />

free. The type of dedication<br />

and commitment needed to<br />

accomplish such a feat is outstanding,<br />

and we are proud to<br />

have him on our team!<br />
