What are the range of products –
manufactured by your firm with reference
to the cement sector?
We are specialised in manufacturing
Vertical Roller Pre-grinding Mills (VRPM)
to reduce the specific power consumption
substantially. In addition, we are also
supplying Roll Press system in collaboration
with CNBM (Hefei) for the applications of
Cement grinding including slag. We are
also the solution provider for coal grinding,
handling and conveying systems.
What are the current requirements for
your products in India’s cement sector?
We are undertaking upgradation projects
for existing cement grinding units with
Ball Mill configuration to increase the
capacity by 50-70% and reduce the power
consumption by 5-7kwh/ton. Our focus
area is to supply split grinding units where
we are offering the optimum solution for the
complete grinding Units.
Tell us about your manufacturing units,
their current capacities and investments?
What is the emphasis you place on
environment and sustainability?
We have a State of the Art manufacturing
unit at Butibori (Nagpur) wherein we are
manufacturing our products. In addition to
that, we have a well-developed vendor base
to cater to our requirements. We are giving
due emphasis to the environment protection
as this is the key to the sustainability. Our
VRPM products are basically to reduce the
power consumption of the existing Units
which will help in reducing the carbon
footprints.
What is the present growth trend
witnessed in the cement market? Give
us an assessment on the demand-supply
scenario in the cement sector in India?
At present there is a cement surplus scenario
in the country. With the renewed thrust
on infrastructure projects and housing
sector the situation is likely to be changed
sometime in the middle of 2017.
As a company, give us a sense of the
emphasis you have placed on R&D,
innovation and sustainability.
We are giving lot of emphasis on research &
development and are indigenously developing
various options for Static Separator and
Pneumatic Conveying systems.
What are the USP’s of your products visavis
competition?
We believe in cost effective solutions and
prompt service to our customers.
Tell us about the challenges faced by
manufacturers like you while introducing/
marketing any new products into
the market? To what extent is cost a
deterrent?
We are facing competition due to cheap
imports from China. Now the trend is
reversing as the Indian customers have
realized the value of after sales service
and spare parts apart from the quality
concerns.
How do you expect the market to shape
up for the cement sector in India? What
are the new products you plan to launch
in the near future?
The trend is going to be for energy efficient
Plants. The maximum savings are possible
through upgradation of Ball Mills used
for cement grinding. We can contribute
significantly in this vital area. u
