IMPORTANT INDICATIONS<br />
Method of Printing:<br />
We work with the following methods of printing:<br />
Flexo printing (flexible materials)<br />
Pad printing (tins)<br />
Offset printing<br />
Digital printing<br />
In the above mentioned printing methods positioning deviations may occur due to technical<br />
grounds.<br />
Delivery time:<br />
The date/week of dispatch is considered as the delivery date or delivery week, this is not to<br />
be confused with the date/week of arrival.<br />
An arrival date/week cannot be confi rmed and is therefore not binding. Once the goods<br />
have been handed to our forwarding agent, the transit time required by our forwarding agent<br />
is not our responsibility. A forwarding agent may be stipulated by yourselves.<br />
A fixed delivery date can not be confirmed, however, in the case of a fixed delivery date we<br />
hold no responsibility for the forwarding agent.<br />
With flexo printing positioning deviations may occur in the motif up to 0,5 mm.<br />
Format of files:<br />
Preferably: Adobe Illustrator (CC), Adobe Photoshop (CC) or Adobe InDesign (CC).<br />
Also possible: Macromedia Freehand MX, Adobe Acrobat, CorelDraw (11), QuarkXPress (8).<br />
This will depend upon the date of printing approval from yourselves and not upon receipt of<br />
artwork. We will not print without any printing approval. No delivery time will be confi rmed<br />
without any printing approval. Any corrections made must be corrected by our appointed<br />
graphic designer. A new copy of the corrections will be sent to you for acceptance and must<br />
receive a fi nal approval before printing commences.<br />
Resolution / Fonts:<br />
Required resolution for motifs: minimum 300 dpi<br />
Required resolution for non-screen and screen motifs: 1200 dpi<br />
Please provide vectorized files.<br />
Corrections:<br />
Please read through the corrections thoroughly. If you cannot recognise a part of the copy<br />
please contact us. Once the text has been approved for printing we are not responsible for<br />
errors overlooked by yourselves. Approval for printing is a mandatory part of an order.<br />
Lettertypes: if not vectorized please provide the corresponding lettertype format file.<br />
In case of cancellation, costs incurred up to approval for printing are to be paid.<br />

Colours:<br />
We work partly with translucent colours. These translucent colours may not cover completely<br />
the surface below and a white under layer is often necessary to obtain the required colour.<br />
Please let us know the exact colour required. We work with HKS and Pantone colours. We do<br />
not work with RAL colours. We can approximate RAL colours (according to Pantone or HKS<br />
colours). Letterheads, business cards and brochures can be used as colour artwork. The print<br />
result may vary according to the material used. We will try to match colours, but do not take<br />
responsibility for the result obtained if detailed HKS or Pantone colours are not provided.<br />
Variations in the nuances of the Pantone and HKS colours are no grounds for a claim.<br />
Each motif and each product will be handled individually. It is not possible to assume all eventualities<br />
in written form. Here and in the technical data sheets is written basic information<br />
only, for which we cannot take full responsibility. We are happy to advise about the product<br />
and the motif. It is not possible to advise without the print motif, therefore the print motif is<br />
required before any offer advice is offered.<br />
No film or artwork is to be prepared with a raster motif without prior consultation.<br />
A copy of the motif as colour artwork is required when data is sent digitally. The colours have<br />
to be colour binding. Printing is not possible without paper artwork or colour binding artwork.<br />
Regulations for food tracing:<br />
Since December 13, 2014 the rules of EU-regulation 1169/2011 concerning the Food Information<br />
Regulation (LMIV) have to be observed. This regulation includes the ingredients list,<br />
the labeling of allergens, the product name (within the visual area), the net quantity (within the<br />
visual area), the best before date as well as the full name and address of the distributor. All<br />
legal requirements have to be printed clearly and readably with a minimum font size of 1,2 mm<br />
related to the letter „x“. As soon as the maximum surface area of the packaging is less than 80<br />
cm², the minimum font size is 0,9 mm. Concerning smallest packaging - that is less than 10<br />
cm² for the maximum surface area - only the most important legal requirements (such as the<br />
product name, the net quantity, the best before date) have to be mentioned - however in the<br />
font size of 0,9 mm related to the small x.<br />
Delivery quantity variations:<br />
Variations in the quantity delivery of up to 10% may occur. This is unavoidable.<br />
Perishable foods:<br />
Perishable foods are non returnable. Please inspect the merchandise upon receipt and<br />
inform us immediately or within 24 hours if there is a problem.<br />
Subsequent claims cannot be accepted. As soon as the goods leave our premises, they are<br />
no longer our responsibility. Neither qualitative nor legal responsibility can be taken concerning<br />
the food.<br />
Colours variations for reprints may occur due to technical grounds and are unavoidable.<br />
Variations in the nuances of the Pantone and HKS colours will not be recognised as part of a<br />
claim.<br />
Two corrections may be made at no extra cost. In the case of a third or more correction we<br />
have the right to charge a fixed amount. We recommend you contact us before the production<br />
of the print files. Therefore unnecessary costs will be avoided.<br />
Assistance can be offered throughout layout proposals. An offer concerning these costs will<br />
be made after the calculation of expenditure.<br />
An original print samples is possible, this will be charged according to the motif. However, a<br />
print sample will delay delivery time.<br />
Claims:<br />
Claims have to be proved. A minimum amount of 10% of the entire quantity of an order must<br />
be affected and returned in the original packaging. In the case of a print claim, 10% of the<br />
entire quantity of an order must also be affected and returned in the original packaging.<br />
Claims concerning the fl avour and the constitution of the foods will only be accepted if the<br />
goods have been kept and stored correctly. Please contact us concerning the latest date of<br />
consumption and other important facts.<br />
It should be noted for example that foods such as chocolate should be stored at room<br />
temperature and jellies are sensitive to heat and humidity.<br />
Our products are either packed according to weight or are counted. The quantity variation<br />
per carton depends on the machine and the products. The final quantity is controlled. In<br />
case of irregularities per carton, please check the final quantity supplied.<br />

We ask for your patience if a slight delay occurs in response to your enquiries. We believe it<br />

Damage or Loss:<br />
Damage due to transit and delivery are to be noted on the consignment note upon receipt of<br />
the goods and are to be confirmed and signed by the carrier. Pallet damages which have not<br />
been noted on the consignment note cannot be considered as shipping damages. Attention<br />
should be made upon delivery of the packaging. Irregularities are to be noted and photographed<br />
immediately.<br />
