Custom integration is all about<br />
balancing homeowners’ wishes and<br />
needs with the latest technology. In this<br />
project, the client’s passion for highend<br />
audio required that audiophile<br />
loudspeakers to be used for optimum<br />
performance along with a legacy cassette<br />
deck, high-end tuner and more<br />
contemporary gear. For easy access,<br />
electronics were flush-mounted in a<br />
custom-designed cabinet and framed<br />
by wood paneling to match the decor.<br />
EDG integrated the electronics with<br />
the home theater and a whole-house<br />
music system that delivers music to<br />
various zones in the four-level home.<br />
In the end, not only was the client able<br />
to hold on to his venerable gear, but<br />
it became much more accessible when<br />
matched with a Crestron multi-room<br />
audio system.<br />
