MEET BRO: THE CADDY WHO AIMS TO GIVE YOU THE FULL EXPERIENCE W o r d s : N i c k K e v e r n On courses around the world the call him "Bro". When you receive a nickname from players and caddies on major tours then it is safe to say that you have made it in the world of professional golf. "Bro", whose real name is Steve Brotherhood, has caddied for some of the best in business. From Paul Broadhurst, David Howell and more recently, Marc Warren, Steve has been at the top of the game. Such is the respect for Steve that when he decided to start his own Caddy Experience Business, he was joined by many of his collegues. Darted around the U.K, Steve has gathered a team of caddies with C.V's that resemble a Who's who in Golf. Martin Gray is one such example. Gray has worked on the professional tours for over 28 years. In that time he was carried the bag for the likes of Lee Westwood, Thomas Bjorn and most notably, the legend that is, Seve Ballesteros. There are of course many other caddies that make up the business. From Ryder Cup to Major winners, these guys know what it takes to get the very best out of any player. Yet, now they aim to bring the experience straight to you. Steve told <strong>Golfhacker</strong> exactly what it is all about. The aim is give you a personalised service. These guys don't just carry your bag. They help you with your game. Steve highlighted the case further by saying that: "With our knowledge, we can asses your strengths and most importantly your weaknesses and give you a new and fresh look on how you should approach the golf course."
Already, Steve has had many happy customers. One such client is Sam Whitaker. Sam's caddy for the day was Martin Gray who travelled to Sam's homeclub. "He really helped with working out playing distances and yardages which I struggle with." Sam said. "We spent some time on the putting green doing some green reading. All in all I had a great time and learnt a lot. I would definitely recommend to anyone that is serious about there golf." A very happy customer indeed. With over 200 combined years of experience to choose from you are certainly spoilt for choice. The caddies have racked up over 300 tour titles between them and aim to make sure that you get the experience that you want. Not only will get on course tips and advice but you will also a post round written report about your game. Packages start from as little as £120 for a nine hole experience with a top caddy with an 18 hole experience costing £200.
