Are you always live?<br />

Louise: Not always, sometimes we do a pre-record that we use<br />

within the segments. We tend to use these when we want to<br />

demonstrate something exciting.<br />

What happens during the live show?<br />

Thea: During the live show we are guided by the presenters who<br />

are fantastic at their jobs – they have to remember so much from<br />

codes, to prices to unique selling points often working on several<br />

different brands during an hour’s show – they make it look easy.<br />

Do you ever watch the shows back?<br />

Louise: We do watch the shows back to see how we can improve<br />

on introductions and demos, its always good to watch as you<br />

start to learn the best camera angles and which intros really sold<br />

the product. Sometimes we watch the shows back and have a<br />

giggle at whatever Thea's Catchphrase was on that show. There’s<br />

always one! Thea is the queen of the one liner for our products<br />

BB crème ‘lightens, Brightens and Whitens’ ORLY is the ‘Biggest<br />

Botttle in the business’ and my favourite when Thea is selling<br />

Spritz dry it’s as easy as ‘Spritz Spritz Spritz’<br />

Have you ever had a sell out show?<br />

Thea: We do have sell out items and that is really satisfying as<br />

I put the items together it makes me happy that my colour and<br />

treatment choices are popular to the QVC customers!<br />

Whats QVC’s best seller?<br />

Thea: Our ‘Wow’ demo is ORLY Cutique which removes dead<br />

skin from the nail plate – we like to use Model Ali Bailey for our<br />

branded hours as not only is she beautiful with great hands and<br />

nails she also has lots of dead skin to remove from the nail plate –<br />

Which makes Louise happy!<br />

Louise: For colour the QVC customers love ORLY Rage and<br />

ORLY Country Club Khaki duo.<br />

How do you think the love for ORLY has grown since QVC?<br />

Thea: Since being on QVC we have definitely felt the love for<br />

the Brand grow – we have gone from a niche salon professional<br />

brand to a brand that is now beamed into people’s homes on a<br />

weekly basis – our social media following has grown and we are<br />

now recognised as a leader in high end nail polish brands.<br />

Who spends the longest getting ready?<br />

Thea: I hate getting ready and leave it to the last minute, you<br />

have to apply so much make up under the bright lights I feel like I<br />

am in Amateur dramatics again!, but Louise has to get ready first<br />

as she has to prep the models 45 minutes before the show so we<br />

are the perfect team. There is no fighting over the mirror- Louise<br />

is the queen of the selfie whereas I hate having my picture taken<br />

– she normally talks me into it though!<br />
