window. It has a Num Lock feature<br />
with numeric keypad and Alt and<br />
Ctrl key <strong>to</strong> do additional tasks<br />

<strong>Use</strong> of Ctrl key for cut, copy, paste<br />
• X key <strong>to</strong> Cut the text<br />
• C key <strong>to</strong> Copy the text<br />
• V key <strong>to</strong> Paste the text<br />
• A key <strong>to</strong> select all<br />
• Z <strong>to</strong> undo the process<br />
• Y <strong>to</strong> redo the process
To remove the selected text, press and hold the Ctrl but<strong>to</strong>n with X.<br />
This can be done when you are browsing something on the internet, working on any software<br />
like Au<strong>to</strong>CAD, Revit, 3Ds Max etc, working on any Word file or presentation.<br />
Save, Print and Delete File<br />
Press and hold the Ctrl key and then press S but<strong>to</strong>n <strong>to</strong> save any document or work on any<br />
software or <strong>to</strong> save the website. To Print any document, webpage, or software work, hold the<br />
P but<strong>to</strong>n with Ctrl key. It will open the Print window where you can manage the setting for<br />
printing document.<br />
To remove any file within an “Open” dialog box, select the file’s name and then hold the Shift<br />
key with Delete key. Select Yes but<strong>to</strong>n when asks for the confirmation. Doing this will delete<br />
the file permanently.<br />
Usage of Windows key<br />
To open the <strong>ThinkPad’s</strong> Start menu, press the Windows logo but<strong>to</strong>n. <strong>Use</strong> up, down and right<br />
arrow but<strong>to</strong>ns on the keyboard <strong>to</strong> move through the Start menu. If the <strong>Lenovo</strong>’s mouse is not<br />
working then the but<strong>to</strong>n on the keyboard can be used <strong>to</strong> move through the menu.
