The Anchor can better control its postal costs with priority service because of this important designation by the U.S. Postal Service. The good news is we’ve already started receiving renewal forms from Glencoe residents who want to make sure they continue to receive their hometown 22CM’s Women in Business Lunch awards 13 recipients Megan Bernard, Editor 22nd Century Media, the parent company of The Glencoe Anchor, held its inaugural Women in Business Lunch Thursday, Sept. 13, at Pinstripes in Northbrook. “This event was an awesome opportunity for us to help recognize the top businesswomen in the North Shore,” said Heather Warthen, 22nd Century Media’s chief events officer. The event honored 13 North Shore women in 13 categories: Large Company (51 employees or more), Medium Company (11-50 employees), Small Company (10 employees or less), Nonprofit, Entrepreneur, Woman-Owned Business, Health and Wellness, Real Estate, Financial, Legal, Hospitality and Dining, Education, and Senior Care. “We were overwhelmed with the response we had for nominations and our 13 winners are incredible women who are doing amazing things in the business world,” Warthen added. The U.S. Postal Service demands a renewal process every three years, so even if you requested the paper three years ago, we do still need you to send in a completed form. If you’ve never sent in a card, we ask that you fill one out and send it in. It only takes a few seconds. You can find the card on the special insert located in the centerfold of this week’s newspaper. Please fill it out and return via mail or fax. The simplest way to renew your free subscription to The Anchor is to go to GlencoeAnchor.com/ delivery and fill out the digital form. So, to all residents, we ask that you not wait for others to send their forms in but complete and return to us your own request form. Thank you for your support.
