Temperatures are cooling, and the leaves are<br />

starting to turn. It's Autumn in Missoula! Take<br />

advantage of the cool weather to finish any<br />

remaining Fall home projects on your list and<br />

get out to explore the surrounding area!<br />

DANCE-A-THON<br />

Get your dance shoes on and moving<br />

this weekend! MCT is hosting an eighthour<br />

dance marathon fundraiser!<br />

Dance enthusiasts of all ages are<br />

welcome at the fundraiser which will<br />

feature songs from the 1920s to<br />

present day. There will be games,<br />

costume contests, raffles, drawings,<br />

and more at this wonderful event!<br />

Dinner and snacks will be provided.<br />

HAZWASTE DAYS 2018<br />

The Missoula Valley Water Quality<br />

District will be collecting<br />

household hazardous waste this<br />

Friday and Saturday at 9:00 am at<br />

Missoula City Shops located at<br />

1305 Scott Street. Accepted items<br />

include paint thinner, flammable<br />

liquids, aerosol paints, fertilizer,<br />

FALL GATHERING<br />

Head to the Moon-Randolph<br />

Homestead's 18th Annual Fall<br />

gathering this Saturday at 4:00<br />

pm for a harvest feast! Enjoy<br />

cider, beer, live music, dancing,<br />

an apple pressing, and more!<br />

The event is a fundraiser<br />

celebrating Missoula's history,<br />

and all proceeds will benefit the<br />

Moon-Randolph Homestead.

MISSOULA BABY FAIR<br />

Head to Caras Park this Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm for The<br />

Missoula Baby Fair, a FREE event for new and expectant parents! Visit<br />

with local vendors and explore the many resources available for parents<br />

throughout the day. The event will include a baby wearing-carrier fashion<br />

show, silent auction, delicious food, sweet ice cream, and experienced<br />

professionals on hand to answer any questions that you have! All of the<br />

proceeds from the silent auction will benefit Healthy Foundations, a<br />

program of the Watson Children's Shelter.<br />

MONTANA WINE & BEER FESTIVAL<br />

You won't want to miss the Missoula Beer and Wine Festival at the<br />

Adams Center this Friday at 7:00 pm! Over 30 wine and beer vendors will<br />

be present at the event, along with local food vendors. Tickets are only<br />

$50, and all proceeds will benefit the student athlete scholarships at the<br />

University of Montana. Delicious beer for a wonderful cause!<br />

ERITREAN COFFEE CEREMONY<br />

Soft Landing Missoula's Eritrean families will hold a traditional coffee<br />

ceremony at the Greek Orthodox Church this Saturday at 9:00 am. Enjoy<br />

traditional Himbasha bread and delicious coffee that will be roasted,<br />

ground, and brewed fresh, just for you!<br />

DIVA DAY 5K<br />

The Diva Day 5K starts at the Community Medical Center Campus (on Fort<br />

Missoula Road) this Saturday at 9:00 am! The race celebrates empowered<br />

women throughout the Missoula area, and 20% of the race proceeds will<br />

benefit YWCA Missoula's Pathways Program which provides support for<br />

survivors of violence. The Run Wild Missoula event website states:<br />

"Western Montana’s Divas are Resilient, Influential, Fierce, Confident,<br />

Powerful, Determined, Strong, and Driven." We couldn't agree more!<br />
