The Pioneers in Juice Products in Saudi Arabia
<strong>Karim</strong> Group of Industries was established in 1989, located in the First<br />
Industrial City in Dammam, with a total area of 10,000 m 2 .<br />
Thus Mr. Abdul <strong>Karim</strong> Al-Gahtani laid the foundation of an industry<br />
which was to become a pioneer in the field of Juice production in the<br />
Kingdom and the neighboring countries.<br />

WE ARE<br />
<strong>Karim</strong> Factory was originally producing recombined milk, laban,<br />
yoghurt and ice cream, but had a very poor distribution network and<br />
uninspiring packaging. Mr. Al-Gahtani re-engineered the whole structure<br />
of <strong>Karim</strong> Factory by installing new machines, building new plants and<br />
enhancing the sales and distribution network. He hired qualified personnel<br />
having years of expertise in the field and revamped all product lines. New<br />
designs and packaging were introduced in order to build a new image and<br />
evolve a new brand.<br />
In the 1990s because of a boost in the global economy, a new era began<br />
that brought consumerism to the fore. With a high disposable income with<br />
the masses and health consciousness becoming global phenomenon, the<br />
emphasis shifted from recombined products to fresh dairy and natural<br />
juice products.<br />

To meet the challenges of marketing in the Long life Juice product, <strong>Karim</strong> Food<br />
Industries decided to enter the long life market in 2005. The product took the<br />
market by storm. Inline with this success we have now 5 units of Tetra-pak<br />
production line; four units of TBA-19 and one unit of TBA-9. Our long life<br />
