• regsvr32 /u \"C:\Program Files\Symantec\filename.\"<br />

name of the file that you entered previously. The name of the<br />

<strong>to</strong>olbar can vary depending upon its version.<br />

• Hit the enter key and this will disable the system file that launches<br />

the <strong>to</strong>olbar au<strong>to</strong>matically on start up of computer.


• Now double click the icon on the system tray in the right of the screen<br />

<strong>to</strong> open the Nor<strong>to</strong>n security suite software.<br />

• Open the Settings and Uncheck the checkbox for phishing protection.<br />

• After closing the window, restart your computer.<br />

• Restarting your system will now result in<strong>to</strong> the <strong>to</strong>olbar going<br />

deactivated and removed.<br />
