north-south and east-west Interstate 95
and Interstate 10. In addition, the industrial

frontage on-site, providing access to both
the CSX and Norfolk Southern rail lines.
This flexible industrial park, with extensive
logistical solutions, can accommodate
a broad range of large-scale industrial
projects within an eight-hour drive of 45
million people. As outlined further in this
document, the site is shovel-ready for a
potential solar manufacturer or other
similar project to begin site preparation.
WESTLAKE INDUSTRIAL PARK
Westlake Industrial Park is located just
off of I-295 near the intermodal yards of
Norfolk Southern and CSX,
approximately 21 miles west of the sea
port in Jacksonville, Florida. Totalling 18.1
acres, this site can accommodate an
additional 233,280 SF of industrial
development. A newly constructed
546,000 SF speculative distribution
facility was leased to Georgia-Pacific
in 2009. Water, sewer, electricity, and
natural gas are delivered to the site; fiber
capabilities are present.
WOODSTOCK INDUSTRUAL PARK
Woodstock Industrial Site is a premier
industrial mega site. The site features
up to 1,500 contiguous acres located on
easily accessible I-10 in Baker County,
FL. The site will accommodate uo to 10
million square feet of industrial space.
Strategically located at Interstate 10 and
U.S.Highway 90, the site is also served
by CSX Railways with 1.5 miles of track
frontage.

Located just minutes from downtown, Jacksonville
International Airport (JAX) provides non-stop flights to

gateways. Eight major airlines and a network of regional
carriers provide some 200 daily arrivals and departures at
JAX.
Jacksonville’s passenger air service market has grown

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority, an independent
state agency serving Duval County, has multi-modal
responsibilities. JTA designs and constructs bridges and
highways and provides varied mass transit services. These
include express and regular bus service, community shuttles
for a neighborhood ride, a downtown Skyway monorail,
the St. Johns River Ferry, the GameDay Xpress for various
sporting events at Jacksonville Stadium, Paratransit for the
disabled and elderly, and Ride Request on-demand services.
JTA has a challenging role serving the largest city in

Highway Access
The Jacksonville metropolitan area is served by four
interstate highways operated by the Florida Department of
Transportation (FDOT). I-95 runs north to south, starting in
Nassau County and leaving in St. Johns County. I-10 runs
west to east, terminating in downtown Jacksonville at I-95.
This intersection is the busiest in the area, with more than
200,000 vehicles traveling it each day. I-295 serves as a
beltway routing around the city and connects to I-10 and
I-95 while serving all areas of Jacksonville. I-795 is a future
expressway that will connect the southeastern section of
I-295 with I-95.

EDUCATION
Jacksonville is home to several institutions of higher
learning. There are two public institutions. University of
North Florida (UNF), founded in 1969, is a member of the
State University System of Florida. It has over 16,000
students and offers a variety of bachelor’s, master’s, and
doctoral programs. Florida State College at Jacksonville
is a public state college in the Florida College System. It
has over 80,000 enrolled full- and part-time students and
offers two-year associate’s degrees as well as some fouryear
bachelor’s programs.

THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT
Duval County added more people last year than did 29 states, according to new
Census Bureau data that show how the pace of Jacksonville’s growth has quickened.
Duval increased its population by 1.6 percent, adding 14,000 more people in 2016,
according to the new data from the U.S. Census Bureau’s annual population.
Overall, the Jacksonville metro area grew by about 2.1 percent, adding more than
30,000 people.
