Spielberg in Concert
The world-famous Philharmonia
Orchestra, resident orchestra
at De Montfort Hall, returns to
Leicester this November with an
evening dedicated to director
Steven Spielberg. The concert
features music from Spielberg’s
long-time collaborator John
Williams, including the scores
to Jaws, E.T., Jurassic Park and
Indiana Jones, as well as music
from Alan Silvestri’s Back to the
Future among many more.
This concert is great for all ages
to enjoy, and perfect for those
who would like to experience
the thrill of a live orchestra
playing iconic film soundtracks
rather than classical music. On
conducted by Anthony Weeden,
renowned for his award-winning
work in the film industry, who
has orchestrated and conducted
scores to The Theory of
Everything, Sicario and Arrival.
Tickets start at £13.50 and there
are £6 tickets available for children
and students.
