In this fun and interactive workshop, David will take attendees through an energetic session<br />

that promises to engage and inspire. Drawing from a range of top-level research, he will<br />

show how some very simple techniques can be used by estate agents at work (or indeed at<br />

home!) to improve sales, influence and decision making. Delegates will learn how to increase<br />

the likelihood of hearing the word ‘yes’ by achieving true ‘trusted advisor’ status in the mind<br />

of their prospects. At the end of the session, delegates will leave with a sound toolkit to<br />

improve their sales results, effectiveness and efficiency.<br />

Workshop 2: Ian Springett, Chief Executive Officer,<br />

OnTheMarket – Competition in the UK Portals Market<br />

In this insightful session, Ian will review the changes in the portals market over recent years<br />

and the impact on agents, other market participants and the portals themselves. Ian will<br />

address the importance and positive impact of genuine competition in the portals market,<br />

allowing agents to switch portals and provide real choice for consumers. Ian will look<br />

ahead to potential developments in the portals landscape and its relationship with estate<br />

agency. He will outline ways in which Relocation Agent Network members and other leading<br />

The Relocation Agent Network Advisory Council has again chosen<br />

to raise money for Agents Giving at this year’s Awards Dinner, as<br />

we see the return of the popular Heads or Tails fundraising game.<br />

Participants make a £10 donation to predict the outcome of each<br />

flip of a coin and the chance to win £100. Agents Giving is a charity<br />

dedicated to raising money for great UK causes including the British<br />

Heart Foundation, Macmillan Cancer Support and local, community<br />

Comedian, writer and actress<br />

Katherine has appeared on a huge range of panel shows, sitcoms<br />

and has won the prestigious Nivea Funny Women Award. She’s<br />

Apprentice: You’re Fired and the Radio 4 institution, The News Quiz.<br />

in Central London.<br />

The Park Plaza Riverbank has excellent rail and air links. Located<br />

near to Waterloo rail and underground station and Vauxhall rail<br />

and underground station, the venue’s location also offers direct<br />

links to Victoria, Kings Cross, St Pancras International, Euston and<br />

Paddington. Heathrow and London City airports are within easy<br />

reach via the underground and Gatwick can be reached using rail<br />

connections to Victoria. If you are planning to drive, the hotel does<br />
