CENDOL<br />
Cendol is a popular cold dessert in<br />
the country South East Asia. This<br />
dessert derives its name from a word<br />
"jendol". The word jendol means<br />
"bulging" and "bumping" in<br />
Javanese, Indonesia and Sundanese.<br />
Cendol, is recreating the bumpy<br />
sensations that arises in the<br />
stomach when green-worm like<br />
jellies are swallowed. So the<br />
Indonesian consider it as a<br />
refreshing drink.
HISTORY

Cendol is originated in Java,<br />
Indonesia. Cendol is typically served<br />
with ice, and developed when ice<br />
became readily available. It may have<br />
originated in Malayan port cities<br />
such as Malacca and Penang. The<br />
mention of cendol appears for the<br />
first time in the Malay Concordance<br />
Project which was published in 1932.

is made with rice flour<br />
and green food colouring<br />
and the dish actually<br />
refers to the jelly.<br />
The coconut milk is made<br />
with coconut residue and<br />
squeeze out the coconut<br />
juice and it bacame a<br />
coconut milk for cendol.
LOCATIONS
Most of the stall are located at the roadside. Its have small<br />
stall and big stall to sell their cendol. Most of the people<br />
would like to eat cendol at the roadside and at the stall.<br />
This is because it make people can easily to enjoy this<br />
dessert as well.
ENVIRONMENT
The environment of the stall are clean,<br />
comfortable and the air are so<br />
refreshing.
This is the stall that<br />
selling cendol at the<br />
roadside.<br />
Uncle is so kind that he<br />
will communicate to the<br />
customers and tell the<br />
story that the history of<br />
cendol and experiences.
CONCLUSION<br />
In Malaysia Cendol is served in small bowl of rich<br />
coconut milk and shaved ice. The dessert is sweetened<br />
using thick brown colored suger syrup derived from<br />
palm sugar. Besides, in Malaysia cendol is sold on<br />
carts. Cendol gives us proteins, but it is quite high in<br />
fat, carbohydrates and calaries. So forth, this is<br />
consider it as a refreshing drink.
