SINCE 1918 Manufacturing I N E N G L A N D Harold Moore(right) and workers - 1937 Manufacturing in the UK since 1913 the Moore family ethos of innovation & quality continues to drive everything we do. Nestled in the heart of Sheffield the ‘Steel City’, we were originally founded to manufacture handles for it’s world renowned cutlery. We always sought out the latest materials to produced products demanded by specific markets, either on our own account or in close collaboration with trusted partners. By the middle of the century new polymers had started to become available and we became one of the first injection moulders in England. With determination and expertise the company quickly established itself as specialists in engineering-grade work. Towards the end of the 1970’s we used this expertise and started designing and manufacturing our own range of professional hand tools. It was at this time that we produced the world first 2-piece polymer shovel. Now, nearly 50 years later, we still produce many bespoke products for quality-conscious customers, but it is for our pioneering work in product design, material development and quality that we are now especially noted.
