Are your account settings out-of-date in mail or calendar
for Windows 10. You may receive a message in your Mail
or Calendar for your operating system when your
account settings are out of date. If that seems to be the

Check Password
The first thing you should do is check your account
password. One of the most common causes of an out-ofdate
account is incorrect password, or when users forget
their password. You can fix this by going into “Fix
account” under the notification bar at the top of the Mail
or Calendar app.

There you will see a message asking you to update your
password, in case your password is incorrect. Enter the
