Personalised plates are also available and are similar in design to the normal series. However, in this series the
registration consists of one letter denoting the province (as above), one numeral, a space and then three to five
characters e.g. X4 MAREK or X4 BMW1,
In additions to these plates, new series have been introduced for diplomats, antique vehicles, temporary plates etc,
Although these are all outside the scope of this article, they may be recognised as Polish plates as they all feature
the blue band, flag and letters PL.
