International Film Festival (AFRIFF),<br />

BFI Blackstar’s Beyond Nollywood,<br />

Cambridge African Film Festival (CAFF)<br />

and the Cannes Short Film corner.<br />

In 2018 he was a Guest Speaker and<br />

Lecturer at the University of Limpopo.<br />

Kanso Ogbolu<br />

is a self-motivated creative with an<br />

ability to translate various ideas<br />

into visual gold. He received a BSc.<br />

in Architecture from the Kwame<br />

Nkrumah University of Science and<br />

Technology, Kumasi, Ghana and<br />

worked with various architectural and<br />

construction firms before moving on<br />

to advertising for 5 years. Some of his<br />

notable achievements during this time<br />

include appearing in the prestigious<br />

Luerzer’s Archive Magazine more<br />

than once, winning the grand prize<br />

in the Multichoice at 20 logo design<br />

competition, winning 2 Gold awards<br />

at the Lagos Advertising and Ideas<br />

Festival for his animation work, to<br />

name a few. Currently, he runs his own<br />

company, OBK Studios, a design, and<br />

animation agency.<br />

Oludara Egerton Shyngle<br />

From quitting a job in one of Nigeria’s<br />

top commercial banks in a bid to follow<br />

her “crazy” dream, the graduate of<br />

New York Film Academy has starred<br />

in hit web series on YouTube and they<br />

include Assorted Meat, Rumor Has<br />

It and Inspector K. Oludara has also<br />

starred in feature films, including the<br />

award-winning Isoken, Tatu, Obsession<br />

and Lara and the Beat and soon to be<br />

released Ghost and the House of Truth.<br />

She played Bukky in the well-received<br />

stage play at Muson center- “Still Single<br />

in Gidi”, which was part of the Lagos<br />

Film Festival in 2017. She was one of the<br />

producers of Lala Akindoju’s ‘NAKED’<br />

and has worked with AFRIFF for the<br />

past three years.<br />

Babawande Thomas<br />

is the Creative Director of Urbangidi, an<br />

African Content creation and<br />

Production Company focused on<br />

integrated content-based advertising<br />

(ICBA). With a Masters Degree in<br />

Enterprise systems management from<br />

Birmingham city university, UK, Wande<br />

is keen on the use of technology and<br />

most especially Media and Integrated<br />

content as a tool in driving across<br />

brand messages to its intended target<br />

demographic. An avid believer in<br />

African self-sufficiency and cultural<br />

updating and preservation for the 2018<br />

Nigerian, Wande believes that Africa is<br />

who Africa needs.<br />

Emem Isong<br />

is a screenwriter, award-winning movie<br />

producer and distributor in Nollywood.<br />

Her 24+ years experience has produced<br />

dozens of notable Nollywood feature<br />

films including Reloaded, Breaking<br />

Point, She-Devil, A Minute To Midnight,<br />

Play Boy, Private Sin, Master Stroke,<br />

Rumours, Shattered Illusion, and in<br />

2015, Code of Silence, addressing the<br />

issue of rape. She is the co-founder<br />

and CEO of Royal Arts Academy, Lagos.<br />

Emem Isong is married and a mother<br />

of 3.<br />

Daro Umaigba<br />

Daro Umaigba has over ten years<br />

experience in various aspects of<br />

filmmaking, photography and visual<br />

design. He is self-taught and has<br />

worked on a varied range of design<br />

projects. He loves to travel and LOVES<br />

Music. His portfolio shows his expertise<br />

in the areas of graphic design,<br />

photography, motion graphics, Visual<br />

effects, 2d and 3d animation, <strong>Camera</strong><br />

operation, Cinematography, Directing,<br />

Video Editing and more across the<br />

design spectrum.<br />

Oluwadamilola Amolegbe<br />

is the founder of ‘W. Amolegbe<br />

Consulting, a Creative<br />

Consultancy where she serves<br />

as Editor of ContentNigeria.Net,<br />

HauteFashionAfrica.com; which she<br />

founded in 2005 and is the CEO of<br />

its linear TV Channel, HFA TV which<br />

launched in November 2017 on PlayTV<br />

and syndicates two of its flagship<br />

programs; ‘Muslimah Style Guide’ and<br />

‘Shop My Closet’ on Silverbird TV.<br />

Isioma Idigbe<br />

holds a Bachelors of Law (Hons) degree<br />

from the Law School at the University<br />

of Kent, Canterbury, United Kingdom.<br />

She holds a certificate in Entertainment<br />

Law from the Osgoode Hall Law<br />

School at the York University Toronto,<br />

Ontario, Canada. As an associate at<br />

PUNUKA Attorneys and Solicitors,<br />

where she heads the firm’s Media and<br />

Entertainment Department, she has<br />

pioneered and hosted extensive Media<br />

and Entertainment Law training sessions<br />

in Nigeria. Noteworthy of these is the<br />

annually held training by the PUNUKA<br />

Media and Entertainment team at the<br />

prestigious Africa International Film<br />

Festival (AFRIFF). Isioma was a panelist<br />

at the International Association of<br />

Entertainment Lawyers (IAEL) annual<br />

conference and is the current secretary<br />

of the Music Publishers Association of<br />

Nigeria.<br />

Odenike Odetola<br />

is a stage, film and television actor as<br />

well as a screenwriter. She is known<br />

for her performance in plays like Hear<br />

Word! and The Wives, as well as movies<br />

and TV shows where she has worked<br />

with several theatre and film veterans<br />

in the industry. She loves traveling and<br />

she teaches yoga in her spare time.<br />
