Bernie’s Book Bank as a drop-off location. Stop by either location,
St. Johns Avenue or Roger Williams Avenue, of Highland Park
Bank & Trust to donate books to Bernie’s Book Bank. New or
Gently-used books accepted.
Moraine Township Food Pantry Drive-Nov. 19 thru Jan. 4
Join us in support of our neighbors in need facing food insecurity
by dropping off shelf stable food items at the bank to be donated
to the Moraine Township Food Pantry!
FOOD PANTRY MOST NEEDED ITEMS: Cereal, Pasta, Fruit - canned
or cups, Graham crackers, Crackers - all kinds, and Pancake mix.

a community that is so supportive, philanthropic, and giving of
time and resources. Please consider giving a little extra to the

K-9 Reading Buddies
K-9 Reading Buddies conducts community outreach in an
animal-assisted therapy capacity.
Our therapy dog teams make reading fun for 3 to 4-year-olds,
partner with at-risk readers in grades 1 through 8, and provide
stress relief for high school students throughout the school year.
Our monthly library program motivates kids to want to come to
the library to experience reading to a K-9 Reading Buddy. Over
200 children register to read to our teams annually at multiple
suburban libraries. And, to kick off the holiday season, our teams
are looking forward to visits with the sailors at Great Lakes Naval
Station for some “Puppy Love” during Thanksgiving week. Woof!
