Dear Rusty,<br />

Thank you for providing service to The Northern Colorado Coop for the 08-09 school<br />

year. The Coop would like to extend the contract with Andrews through the 2009-2010<br />

school year. The contract would begin July 1, 2009 and end on June 30, 2010. The<br />

current terms and conditions will carry over into the next contract period.<br />

As we have already discussed, districts from the Centennial BOCES group will be<br />

joining The Northern Colorado Coop. As of the date shown above, Weld RE-1(Gilcrest),<br />

Weld RE3J (Keenesburg) and Weld RE-7(Platttevalley) have said they will be<br />

participating in the 2009-2010 contract period. I have estimates from Gilcrest and<br />

Keenesburg. I’m waiting to receive numbers from Plattevalley. Generally speaking, these<br />

districts will be purchasing existing items off of the current product list. There may be a<br />

few items added.<br />

With the changes that are occurring in Boulder, it is unclear at this time whether they will<br />

be in the Coop or not for next year. Once we know for sure, you will be notified.<br />

Paper items will not be part of the RFP for next year. We will be doing an Invitation to<br />

Bid for those items with award being made to one vendor. Andrews will be included with<br />

this bid.<br />

Would it be possible for you to review our purchase history and use that information to<br />

determine pricing for the next contract period? Could we have July 1, 2009 pricing by<br />

May 1, 2009? As previously discussed, two tiered pricing will need to be implemented,<br />

one for warehouse deliveries and one for direct delivery to schools. I hope that that will<br />

still be possible.<br />

The Northern Colorado Coop has been happy with Andrews this year. The monthly<br />

meetings have been valuable and we appreciate you and David Pytlinski attending these<br />

meetings. We also appreciate the efforts of everyone else at Andrews in making this a<br />

successful partnership.<br />
