Foxhunters promotes a healthy lifestyle and

Foxhunters Care Community is located on the
Westgate development and offers beautiful views of
the Blorenge and beyond. From the moment you walk
through the door at Foxhunters, you will receive a warm
welcome. Beautifully furnished communal areas leading
in to coffee lounge offering all day complimentary
refreshments and cosy corners and a well-stocked
library where you can read a book or chat with family
and friends.
This 70 bed home features
some impressive facilities for
residents and their family and
friends to enjoy. The home
focusses on remaining active
and independent with care and
support on hand when required.
All of the rooms have been
beautifully furnished, to include a
television and personal phone line
and the added benefit of Wi-Fi
throughout the home. Many have
patio doors on to the gardens with
stunning views of the Welsh hills
and mountains around.
Activity space mean there is
room for regular group sessions
and visiting entertainers. A range
of daily activities will be on offer
to include exercise classes, pottery,
painting, music therapy, trips out
and many more. Complimentary
hairdressing is also available
in our own salon. Chiropody,
manicures and physiotherapy will
all feature in our weekly wellbeing
programme.

The home is passionate about the dining experience
on offer, from a range of light snacks and home- made
cakes in its very own café to a three-course meal in the
restaurants, the menu is varied and tailored to suit all
tastes and dietary requirements. The Chef sources all
ingredients locally and has already built some strong
links with local suppliers. For those special occasions,
the home has a private dining facility where families can
join their loved ones for meals
The home was inundated with over 500 job
applications and staff are about to start their induction
in preparation for opening. Nurses, carers, activities coordinators,
hospitality, housekeeping and maintenance
are all on board.
