Moving & Trucking
In FY18, Moving and Trucking (M&T) worked on continuous
improvement activities developed through employee
engagement, including the development of a new vehicle and
inventory checklist and an electronic overtime log for tracking
department overtime which provides cloud-based access of the
log to employees.
Departmental performance data was migrated to a Dashboard
application for interactive display of performance in real time.
Additionally, M&T applied for and was awarded an ERGO Grant
from MHealthy for the purchase of an Electric Chain Fall and
Power Stair Climbing Truck. These purchases will help M&T
move and deliver heavy materials needed to complete the
jobs requested with reduced back and shoulder muscle strain
on employees.
